The Literary Reading Series welcomes Bill Lavender Thursday, Nov. 07, at 7:00 p.m. in Administration Building 220. The event is free and open to the public.
Lavender is a poet, novelist, musician, carpenter and publisher living in New Orleans. He is the author of 12 books of poetry—most recently, My ID (Blazevox, 2019)— and three novels. He is the founding editor of Lavender Ink, and Diálogos, an imprint devoted to cross-cultural literatures. He is the co-founder, with Megan Burns of Trembling Pillow Press, of the New Orleans Poetry Festival.
